This blog is partly devoted to the sharing of my learning of the English language (my well mastered mother tongue is Chinese and I am not an English teacher) and its *cultures*, partly to the current significant trends in Canada and in the world, and partly to my own random thoughts and little life.

I still don't quite understand this commonplace arrangement in Canada. Public hospitals are run by their angels of mercy, and the doctors just work there like medical consultants or something, hired from outside, if my impression isn't too far from the truth.
So essentially, nurses are civil servants, but doctors are not. Doctors are much more of private practitioners of medicine.
