Under the auspices of Google, the strategically crucial Android will have its place in the world, however weak the patents which it holds now are. The question is only whether it will be among the top three mobile OSes or not.
On a related note, Samsung's fledgling Bada mobile OS will be interesting to watch.
Some people write plain English with an edge of literariness. Some don't.
