From the east side of the Augustan altar of Peace (Ara Pacis) in Rome. Roman marble relief of "Tellus" (the identification is controversial). A velate female holds two babies; personifications of winds (aurai) flank her.
Date: 13-9 B.C. Set up in honor of Augustus.

In Roman mythology, Tellus, a.k.a. Terra, is a goddess personifying the Earth.
By the way, I suspect that the Telus Corporation, one of the few big telecom carriers in Canada, is named after the ancient Roman goddess Tellus.
