The acceleration of the world's changing is beyond measure, sometimes I feel.

Is North Korea really contriving launching a nuclear bomb or two?

Everyone is forced to PAY attention to that sovereignty. It must know that our attention and time is expensive. How much GDP is lost because of this amount of collective attention? :-) Just some gibberish from me.

Some harms cannot be offered something in recompense for.

So one must be gentle and careful.

I guess that the public transportation vehicles in Beijing should gather speeds and efficiencies,

so that commuting by them will no longer be like running the gauntlet. Then the car traffic jams can possibly be expected to drop in number.

Merry Christmas.

And happy new year in advance.

Smart money, noble money

No one on earth can outgo Bill Gates and Warren Buffett in the combination of business shrewdness and philanthropic donations.

In certain ways, their money is smart money, as well as noble money. It is well earned, and it is well spent.
