"Would you like some wine?" the waitress graciously asked. "Is it extra?" J replied. "Yes, it is." the waitress corresponded.

A string of characters.

People don't ping each other via emails as much as before. SNS has largely replaced that need.

Among the recent iterations of all the major browsers, Chrome and Firefox seem to have been leading the force, while Safari has been lagging behind in terms of performance and robustness. As for IE, who hasn't forgotten it?

"Did you assay him with entertainment?" J said.

Music video - Go no more a-roving - Joan Baez

Lyrics (Actually it's a poem "We'll go no more a-roving" by Lord Byron):

Arthur Quiller-Couch, ed. 1919. The Oxford Book of English Verse: 1250–1900.

George Gordon Byron, Lord Byron. 1788–1824

599. We'll go no more a-roving
SO, we'll go no more a-roving
  So late into the night,
Though the heart be still as loving,
And the moon be still as bright.
For the sword outwears its sheath,         5
And the soul wears out the breast,
And the heart must pause to breathe,
  And love itself have rest.
Though the night was made for loving,
And the day returns too soon,              10
Yet we'll go no more a-roving
By the light of the moon.

Improving their English levels is a gigantic drain on the myriad young people in the non-English-speaking developing countries.

The songs by Chyi Chin, a famous male Taiwanese singer, are my Proustian pleasure.
