I don't know how well Panasonic cherishes its own brand name. It would probably do well if it managed the quality of its products, many of which are made in China, BETTER.

If a Japanese major brand loses its quality appeal, it loses its way in this world, which is overflowed with commodity product suppliers with relatively shoddy workmanship.

By the way, the above thought of mine about Panasonic products' deteriorating quality can be accompanied by this piece of news: Sony, Panasonic Forecast Deeper Losses as Samsung Dominates.

Are the occurrences of poorer product workmanship and historical corporate loss just a coincidence for Panasonic? Probably not.
