Due to their relatively low English proficiency and limited leisure time, some Chinese immigrants dwelling in Montreal seem to be out of touch with both the powerful trends in Canada and those in Mainland China. That, is not a blessing for them, in this era characteristic of globalized domino effects and accelerated changes.
