This blog is partly devoted to the sharing of my learning of the English language (my well mastered mother tongue is Chinese and I am not an English teacher) and its *cultures*, partly to the current significant trends in Canada and in the world, and partly to my own random thoughts and little life. I am not religious, but I am somewhat interested in Christianity and Buddhism, among other personal interests. Welcome. And, have a good day.

Sir Wilfrid Laurier - The Man with the Silver Tongue - The Canadian Experience
A part of transient politicians became portly statesmen in a nation's history and heritage. Mr. Wilfrid Laurier is one of them for Canada. It would be an odious wrong for the state-of-the-art generations
to entirely forget them. Even on the pragmatic side, it is wiser for a country and its people to remember old history. Otherwise, historic mistakes will tend to repeat themselves.
As a matter of fact, during all these years I have lived in Canada, it impresses me that Canadian media always raptly discuss over politics. Probably they think most citizens should be intrigued by it.
The Wilfrid Laurier University, located in Waterloo, Ontario, is named to honor Mr. Laurier.
