A massive collision with an object from space early in the history of Mars helped create what could be the largest impact structure in the solar system, according to three studies to be published this week in the journal Nature.

Mars, commonly known as the Red Planet, could also be called the lopsided planet, since much of its southern hemisphere has a dramatically higher elevation and a thicker crust.

Bell Canada Inc. has released details on the level of congestion on its internet-access network, but critics are saying the information still does not justify slowing the speeds of certain types of traffic.
