This blog is partly devoted to the sharing of my learning of the English language (my well mastered mother tongue is Chinese and I am not an English teacher) and its *cultures*, partly to the current significant trends in Canada and in the world, and partly to my own random thoughts and little life. I am not religious, but I am somewhat interested in Christianity and Buddhism, among other personal interests. Welcome. And, have a good day.

Between KDE Plasma and GNOME, I just feel kind of impartial right now.
The makeover which was brought by KDE Plasma 5 has been such an eye candy which wows me. But it just dismisses many of my old keyboard shortcuts habits which I've carried from Microsoft Windows and the Cinnamon desktop environment.

Personally I dismiss conlanging as a waste of time.
I'd rather expend my precious time on acquiring real-world languages such as French, or Japanese. Or Javascript, so to speak. :-)

It seems that Valentine's Day has got only some sentimental value, thanks to consumerism.

The world loads nearly everyone of us with a lot of information, almost compulsorily.
Besides, nearly everyone of us streams or downloads a lot of videos and audio clips.
That's a lot of traffic on the internet altogether.

It seems that many female pop singers take advantage of suggestive dancing movements to engage, stimulate, and mesmerize the audience.
Well, do you think that's sad or something?

Chillax, slow is cool.
I for one hope that slow medicine, as well as slow parenting, will take over.
My LG Nexus 5 phone faceplanted on the floor the other week.
Thanks to the rugged Ballistic brand phone case, the phone screen remained intact. That's called hardware investment.
My laptop's optical drive seems to be not capable to play the Blu-ray thingummy.
Well, I guess I'll shop around for a new one next year.

Stuffocation causes people stress from time to time, it seems.
Uncontrolled consumerism boosts greed among people's hearts. Isn't that right?
This website, stuffocation.org , urges you to de-stuffocate your life and your home.

There's a 'tomcat'. And there's a 'bobcat'.
There's a 'tomboy'. But there's no such a word as 'bobboy'.

Let's all hope that China's humongous economy is not going to become a debacle, seriously.
I for one have grown increasingly concerned.
The root cause is its distorted capital allocation schemes system, I suppose.
