For the same vodka and whiskey, sometimes the former tastes better than the latter, other times vice versa.

Slow websites repulse people.

I was brought up in the then nearly monolithically atheist China and still remains to be nonreligious. But now I guess that in any given country, joy and peace appear more often and abide longer in an average religious person than in an average atheist.

I suspect that even if I lived my life before the internet age, I would still be wrung by information overload. :-)

Enjoy.

He walked and saw and thought
This would be a known shore in years

I've heard that there's a free unlock package that can unlock iPhone and all of its paid apps.

I don't know if it contains spyware or something. It must be, right?

"Moral bankruptcy" is an interesting term.

I've become to like Canadians more and more.

People need to bide their time and then run when they need to run.

It seems that Facebook will become a dread company to most internet companies.

Sigh. The formidability of the Microsoft giant mirrored in the hearts and minds of the executives of Yahoo! in its early years has wrecked a hefty price of losing opportunities for the once promising company.

Many people like drawing. And they draw doodles everywhere, in the classroom, washroom, and so on.

In Canada and the U.S., you can see lots of painted doodles on building walls.

But I've never been able to draw.

The sometimes outrageous costs of law suits have made resorting to court largely only viable for the suits, especially in the U.S.

Can the existing glut of lawyers drive down the costs and benefit more average Joes and Janes?

My mind falls apart when I become tired and sleepy.

It seems that some native Chinese, even some with undergraduate and post-graduate degrees, don't know how to express their reasoning at all when they are expressing themselves. They simply reiterate their personal feelings.

Should they voice their reasoning when they try to make their points? Well, sometime when a person doesn't make his reasoning known, his words appear to be kind of like unconstructive jibber-jabber, right?

Vintage music video -

Lyrics copied from http://goo.gl/oocgT:

I personally think that some career paths actually are formidably difficult, if the people pursuing them knew beforehand. Knowledge is power.

Some worthwhile voices are lost in the massive noises on the internet. Can that be called an example of market inefficiencies?

Well, I don't know much about Mr. 周立波. But honestly, some of that Shanghai person's behaviors speak of bad taste in life.

I try to not lose any moment.

The details of people's daily life are more and more told of in this internet era.

What's the news with you, American economy?

For some, if not many, entrepreneurs who hold full-time jobs, the lack of time forbids them from sustaining their endeavors.

The said "moral bankruptcy" of Goldman Sachs and the likes of it & "a global financial levy"

The former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown once mentioned "a global financial levy" for banks and financial institutions. I wonder how well the actual implementation of it goes worldwide. I believe many people are watching that.

Take this as at http://goo.gl/QrekV:

Mr Brown said: "We need a global financial levy for the banks, we have to quash remuneration packages such as Goldman Sachs. I cannot allow this to continue.
"Everything I find out convinces me we've got to go in deeper and I believe I'm the man to go in and deal with these problems with the banks."
Last week Mr Brown said he made a "mistake" when he acceded to call for lighter regulations on financial institutions during his years as chancellor.
Today he said: "Every time I moved on regulation I had people saying this is ridiculous - deregulation is the only way forward. I accept we didn't know what was going on inside independent companies.
"The banks have let us down. There is a moral bankruptcy reflected in what I've been reading about and hearing out. I want a special investigation."
Mr Brown added: "The banks are a risk to the economy. We've got to make sure they behave in a proper way. We've got to do it at an international level. We need agreement about what we need to do. A new global constitution for the banks is a big issue."

The forbiddingly tough economic situations in Europe, the political upheavals in the Mideast, and their potential interplays given the two regions' geographic proximity look worrisome for the still weak global economy.

Has the U.S. treated its financial debt to the U.N. too blatantly?

Hotmail is so apparently poorly managed. I don't understand why a myriad of people are still using it. Over time, it will wither, anyways.

Gmail by Google is the way to go.

I really think that the problem of information overload is formidable and consequential.

I suppose that Beijing has become a forbidding mega city because of its extremely high housing costs, annoying traffic jams, and so on.

Perhaps I am lucky in that I came from China to Canada to seek my future, although many people think that great opportunities exist in China.

Wow. A grandly refreshing picture.

I don't know. Some of China's IT journalists seem to be a little blithe in their writing. Well, anyways, things with high hopes sell best.

The online searching expeditions take much time and intellectual resources and the like.

It is pivotal that there is a civil market of ideas, which compete with each other.

'Blissful' is a very rich word.

Blissful treatment of people leads to nowhere.

In my young years, I was ignorant but not blithe.

It seems that China's video streaming websites, such as tudou.com, are bedrid due to their lagging in technological capabilities.

And 56.com seems to be the best, relatively, among them.

It seems that the high school and university students with the best critical thinking capabilities are concentrated in Beijing and Shanghai, the two hugest mega cities of China.

Well, it's obvious, isn't it?

I'm abandoning the labeling of the posts on this blog.

It's just neither necessary nor helpful. For finding information on this blog, a search will do.

Now that the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons has stripped the license of the disgraced Toronto pathologist Charles Randal Smith and found him "incompetent" and "unprofessional".

Note that Mr. Charles Smith had obtained his pathology training at University of Toronto in the 1970s. And now we know that an education from a prestigious university does NOT equal to high quality of a professional's work.
