Wintry breezes at -2 degrees Celsius

This winter isn't too cold
-2 degrees Celsius is the best winter temperature
It doesn't freeze you a great deal
While it can give you the Northern flair

White snow, dark road, small hours in the night,
The yellow light from a height in the 4th floor apartment,
And the pink and blue drapes covering its windows,
In the high-rise building standing at the intersection of two thoroughfares

Untitled

That tree did not know
How to love itself
It only cared about sky
Since it was made by the spy

If time could back flow
It would still not know
But now it loves itself
Softly

"A heart unfortified"

Your mind knows the importance of science
Yet your heart from time to time sighs
The feelings you as a human being feel
Cannot be denied and be not real

Driven by desire

The electric fan extorts artificial breezes from the summer air
The baby is gibber-jabbering and speaking "eye" and "hair"
You say life is too hard and most of times unfair
and why the biting flying mosquitoes always dare

A mistake that never happens again

He drinks rum and whiskey simultaneously
and delights in them spontaneously
His mind and body don't act consentaneously
so he drops drunken instantaneously

Unknown shore

(Image from http://bit.ly/94Ic5G)

He was cast by sea waves on an unknown shore
Birds swarmed and swooned in cacophony
As if fain expostulating with each other

He walked and saw and thought
This would be a known shore in years

Slashing snow

The winds blow
The street lamps hang low
I look out of the window

Russet sky

A bird showers in the russet sky
A man walks on the refreshing path

Flavors

Coffee, strong coffee.
Python, free Python.

Java, Sun Java.
.NET, ASP.NET.

P.S. If you're not an IT person, don't worry at all if you don't understand this little poem of mine. :-)

Dogs gnaw bones

Dogs gnaw bones
Cats smell fish
Humans look for things heartfelt

Armchair adventures

The treasure island was in the attic
But the impressionist was in the foyer
The loft was aloof with itself
The gallery was full of journalists

寄托的沙场

他,定了定神,又返身杀回,那沙场,那寄托之地。

Stuff

The marketplace is full of stuff
But much of it is just fluff
Many crowds of people puff
And some other ones bluff

- Initially written in July 2009
- Tried to revise in December 2010 but did not succeed

Vial (Part 3)

At the beginning he had not gotten the funds
Although he was a premier intellectual in his field
He had the officials' numbers to dial
To circumvent the paperwork pile

Streaks of breaking daylight

Strangely, a new dawn doesn't usher a better day
Will the upcoming hours be star-crossed?
Anticipating the living
A bird starts to flutter its rained wings

Vial (Part 2)

Some competitors will have some secret bile
But bad luck is not for them a good alibi
I have put in my numerous hours and paid my due
Anyone can see that in my log file

The death of a classic open-hearted gentleman & "Pavane" of Gabriel Fauré

The death of a classic open-hearted gentleman

Misbelief in feast friends
Misplacement of the money
Misfit in the mercenary society
Mishaps guaranteed by the ungrateful

(Inspired by the tragedy of "Timon of Athens", this plain poem of mine, is plainly in stark contrast to the sublime music unrolled in the videos assimilated in this blog post. Just the same, it serves as one little experiment for me.)

Bay Street of the U.S.A. (Part 5)

(Image from http://bit.ly/9Bgp7q)

You can't say all pretended are my scruples
Just some of my staff will try to screw
The clients who should know better than
Sheerly trusting snug and luxurious offices
