The Shins, is in fact a must-know band in the American Indie Pop scene. Apparently, the band was sheerly bootstrapping on a low budget while making the above music videos. Nonetheless, I really get a kick out of the song. So here I turn it in, hand it in, and kick it in to you. Listen on (albeit the lyrics are a bit clunky).

For the most part, I am a man who tends to be numb to colors. But the other day, while in the snow, a national flag of Canada came into my sight, and the dually colorful configuration on it struck me, somewhat surreally. I did a double take. It is red and white.

Coincidentally, in terms of colors, the university flag of McGill U. is also red and white.

My unverified guess is that all those flag color constellations trace back to that maple leaves are red and northern snow is white.

How individuals' own information streams evolve will be quite intriguing to look at.
