The gradual breakdown of patriarchy in Western countries has brought on the phenomenon that more and more men are committed to the avoidance of heterosexual marriage.
Is it harmful to the upbringing of generations of children to come? You bet. More or less, it's like that mothers are life givers but fathers are lifeguards.
