This blog is partly devoted to the sharing of my learning of the English language (my well mastered mother tongue is Chinese and I am not an English teacher) and its *cultures*, partly to the current significant trends in Canada and in the world, and partly to my own random thoughts and little life. I am not religious, but I am somewhat interested in Christianity and Buddhism, among other personal interests. Welcome. And, have a good day.

There must be myriad of companies, large and small, which will waylay Google.
Microsoft and Amazon probably are the two most formidable ones among them.
By contrast, the tiniest among them are DuckDuckGo (2 employees), and even smaller, Newsblur (1 person, see the "Who" section at http://www.newsblur.com/about ). :-)
Scratch pads are always needed by people.
They are made of paper in the past, while they are digital nowadays.

Things in the mobile computing sphere are clearer nowadays than several years ago.
I think that even for average consumers, it's probably a mistake for them to brace their own mobile life in the walled garden of Apple's ecosystem.
Now more and more people must have foreknown that Microsoft will be in big trouble.
The mammoth trouble for the Redmond giant doesn't come from Apple, IMHO, it comes from Linux, as well as cheap DIY hardware.

Well, I used to think Fila is an American brand name.
But in fact it had been an Italian one, and now it's a Korean company headquartered in Seoul, Korea. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fila_(company).

I've always been fond of the RSS segment of internet browsing.
Many people say that Twitter and other social media replace RSS/Atom feeds. I beg to disagree.
