Lions are extremely violent and powerful killing machines.
Tigers ditto.
This blog is partly devoted to the sharing of my learning of the English language (my well mastered mother tongue is Chinese and I am not an English teacher) and its *cultures*, partly to the current significant trends in Canada and in the world, and partly to my own random thoughts and little life. I am not religious, but I am somewhat interested in Christianity and Buddhism, among other personal interests. Welcome. And, have a good day.

When you write a software program, the niggling doubts don't really go away until you finally successfully run it with multiple testing inputs.
Sometimes it's joy, and sometimes it's pain. C'est la vie, to coin a phrase.

To augment one's body means a totally different thing than to enhance one's body.
In this day and age, more and more people have become so precipitate, or even impetuous, that they have taken the route of body augmentation.
It's interesting to know that hippos are also called "river horses" in English.
And, like horses, they are fond of eating grass. That's the opposite with crocs' dieting habits.

The unceremoniousness of some typical North American women was a novelty to me, when I first arrived in Canada.
Now it's a huge turn-off for me. I'm not alone in that aspect.

Software developers and developers-to-be mostly are dog-tired year by year.
But many of them are apt to be taciturn men.
Asia was the first and only continent that has been nuked in human history.

The word "wildebeest" is pretty interesting.
The word's form is much like "wild beast".
At the same time, the particular animal is also called as "gnu." Remember the "GNU" part in "GNU/Linux?"

Today has been another unusually muggy September day.
However, July and August passed as abnormally cool.
The haphazard weather makes one wonder what's next down the road. Will some natural disasters strike?
The world now is all very bewildering.

The current leader of North Korea is such a handful for the world.
He's turned his country into an extremely dangerous pride of nuclear warheads.

Unfortunately, many American and Canadian women have reduced themselves almost to a piece of meat.
Their wrong thinking leads to that sad self-destruction.

My mind blurred the distinction between the words "analogous" and "monogamous."
Then I kind of invented a new word "anagamous" when I actually intended "analogous."
