There are so many similar words in English.
This blog is partly devoted to the sharing of my learning of the English language (my well mastered mother tongue is Chinese and I am not an English teacher) and its *cultures*, partly to the current significant trends in Canada and in the world, and partly to my own random thoughts and little life. I am not religious, but I am somewhat interested in Christianity and Buddhism, among other personal interests. Welcome. And, have a good day.

There is a Punjab State in India, and there is a Punjab Province in Pakistan.
And they have got the same main language, Punjabi.
The greater Punjab region is the historic homeland of the Sikhs. Unsuprisinly, Sikhs' main language is Punjabi. Take note that the Sikh people have a total population of 27 million globally.
For starters, the Sikh people have the following characterics which interest me particularly:
1. Kesh
And that naturally involves head hair, as well as body hair.
However,
Nonetheless, you can take a look at the following old news (no oxymoron intended, :-) :

In Sikhism, Kesh (sometimes Kes) is the practice of allowing one's hair to grow naturally as a symbol of respect for the perfection of God's creation.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kesh_%28Sikhism%29
And that naturally involves head hair, as well as body hair.
However,
In modern times the trend of short hair has encroached upon this tradition; in some parts of Punjab, it is estimated that 80% of Sikh youths have cut their hair. Reasons include simple convenience — avoiding the daily combing and tying — as well as social pressures from the mainstream culture to look like everyone else.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kesh_%28Sikhism%29

With laying off employees in large chunks, is it on the right track?

But don't make people have the impression that your life goal is to pursue thoughtful amenities.

There are two phases of cognitive natuaralization for a Chinese immigrant in Canada.
Phase 1: Finally he's come to realize that there are some certain crucial elephants in the room in the U.S. and Canada.
Phase 2: He's then come to terms with those elephants in the room.

I think that off the charts is Americans' seemingly indoctrinated disrespect to old men, a.k.a. "old geezers", in the especially globetrotting American pop culture.
Many of those "old geezers" are wizards who are of old age. Old wizards, not old geezers, so to speak.

The former is a tote bag, while the latter is an enclosed box or can, if you will.

So I'm waiting for Firefox' catching up on that particular front.

Nowadays so many women are accusing men as effeminate and not selfless and are describing other women as bimbos.
Well, tables have been turned, and beds have been made. There have got to be some people who will have to lie in them.
The perpetual theme of the lady and the unicorn stand-in. Godspeed.

I've been long muddled by the meanings of "hash", "hash function", "hash value", "message digest", and "hash table" in Compute Science.
Now finally I've made it clear to me that a hash function is simply a one-way encryption function which often is used to ensure a data file, or packet, transmitted over the internet has not been garbled.
Brouhaha. All that hodgepodge of different names and terms.
It's the same old hash of hash function over and over again, all in all.
By the way, a function is not a mapping.

Personally I don't like songs with long-winded lyrics very much.
Singers with mortormouths typically lose me.
One dilemma in life is that some people are thought by many others as downtrodden but they are protected all in all.
If they are "liberated", lo and behold, a Pandora's box gets opened, from the circumstances.

Who doesn't want to be chipper?
But oftentimes individuals are too unapologetically caught up in the rat race for that.
To cull one's workload in life must be one key of time management.
Strapped for time? Then save more.
