This blog is partly devoted to the sharing of my learning of the English language (my well mastered mother tongue is Chinese and I am not an English teacher) and its *cultures*, partly to the current significant trends in Canada and in the world, and partly to my own random thoughts and little life. I am not religious, but I am somewhat interested in Christianity and Buddhism, among other personal interests. Welcome. And, have a good day.

Sneakers sneak, because they have quiet shoe soles.
Runners run, because they have life purposes and rationality.

Some people imply that new age wimps are everywhere.
On the other side of the gender line, there are too many ballbusters, they say.

It's been reported that at least one militia in Ukraine has been formed and in training.
If the crisis in Ukraine continues, probably more and more militias will come into force in that country.
There are far too many crises in this globalized world. The lasting Great Recession (infamously a.k.a. "The Second Great Depression"), the food crisis, and the water crisis.
Now there's a global garbage crisis. (See http://globalnews.ca/news/952340/global-garbage-crisis-looming-say-experts/ .)
At the same time, it appears that the weather crisis is looming.
However, as individuals, we shouldn't have over-the-top worries, just do the best that we can.

Many young men go through work-out regimens in order to get more showy body shapes.
Is it a blessing for themselves, or a curse?

It's been reported that Pauline Marois' premature Québec sovereignty remarks had quashed Parti Québécois' chance of returning to the power of a majority government in Québec.
Well, what a state of seesaw politics in Québec. And it appears that the issue always smolders of the preservation and prevalence of the French language and culture.
En la vie, les premier et deuxième leçons sont sur le aspect physique et le aspect intellectuel.
Est-ce que le troisième leçon est sur le aspect spirituel?

It seems that all cats fall into two categories: shorthairs, and longhairs.
And research has shown they are stress-busters for human beings.

The title of Tamas Wells' second album, A Plea En Vendredi, must have been coined by the band as a strange combination of English words and French words.
"A Plea" belongs to the English language, where "En Vendredi" does to the French one.
Such an expression, neither fish nor fowl. Well. So postmodern.
